In school districts around the country, Schoology is breaking down barriers with not only teachers and students, but also families and communities. Schoology gives all stakeholders the opportunity to create meaningful paths to engage with families and communities. When families, communities and schools work together, students are more successful and the entire community benefits. In this session, participants will examine and discuss educational research related to engaging families and communities and explore ideas from school districts across the U.S. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to share their powerful ideas and develop a plan to pave new paths to engage families and communities in their school district.

-Explore ways Schoology can be used as a powerful communication tool to engage families and communities.
-Create a plan to take your new learning back to your organization to implement based on your role (administrator, coach, teacher leader, etc.).
